FUMASEP® ION EXCHANGE MEMBRANES

HOMOGENOUS AND HETEROGENEOUS MEMBRANES FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL PROCESSES

FUMASEP® FAS AND FKS are standard homogeneous anion and cation exchange membranes. Optimized in terms of conductivity, area resistance, perm selectivity and membrane thickness for use in electrodialysis (ED) systems.

FUMASEP® FAB is an anion exchange membrane which is designed for very low proton crossover to achieve high concentrations of acid.

FUMASEP® FKB is a cation exchange membrane optimized for high cation transport in combination with high OH-retention.

FUMASEP® FAB, FKB are designed and optimized for electrodialysis with bipolar membranes (EDBM).

FUMASEP® FAD anion exchange membrane is characterized by permeability for acids and high rejection rate for metal ions.

FUMASEP® FKD cation exchange membrane is used for application of diffusion dialysis for spent caustic. Up to 95 % of free acid and up to 80 % of the free base can be recovered and recirculated to the production process. This results in important savings and significant reduction of chemical consumption in industrial processes.

FUMASEP® FKL is a cation exchange membrane for concentration of caustic by electrodialysis.
